Swimming

I like swimming. I used to be on my high school swim team. Other than waking up at 4 am for practices, it was a great time.

However, it’s November now. And in Utah, that means that all of the water located outdoors is quite chilly. Not ideal for swimming.

But I almost took a swim today.

Remember Oscar? The beloved dog mentioned in several previous posts? Oscar likes water. But he gets rather irritated when he can’t chomp it into submission.

Sorry about the goofy, weird laughter. I was trying not to lose my footing on a rather muddy bank, and Oscar was tugging rather hard on his leash. He was determined to get those bubbles.

What he ended up getting was a hot bath when we got home. Ridiculous dog is going to make himself sick jumping into streams in November.

Love, peace, and freezing cold water,

Sumiko
