A Love Letter

Dearest Ginger,
You are the most beautiful, most perfect, most curvaceous, most noisy and smooth-riding motorcycle I’ve seen in my entire life. The moment I set eyes on you – almost three years ago! – I knew we were destined to be together. And as soon as I felt my heart lurch in my chest with the sensation of your acceleration, I knew you were the only one for me.
Ginger – darling – I adore you. The way the light gleams on your exhaust pipes and the way your perfectly balanced weight launches us into the corners on a winding canyon road are the stuff fairytales are made of. The throaty roar of your laughter, and the howl of your high-speed running are music to my (slightly deafened) ears.
My sweet, I treasure you every day we are together. And when ice and injuries keep us apart, I wish only to sit in the garage, staring longingly at your graceful image, and occasionally rev you up so I can sit there breathing in the fumes.
Sincerely,
A Besotted Rider Who Hasn’t Been Out for Three Damn Months
